We are hiring Head of Finance and Accounts for a reputed Infrastructure company

Location: Hyderabad

Experience Levels : 15+ years

 

Heading the finance, accounts and imports documentations team and taking full ownership of the following:

 

  • Maintaining all aspects of accounts – invoicing, purchases, bank reconciliations, expenses, taxation, inter branch transfers, etc.
  • Legal compliance – Ensuring legal compliance in following matters is ensured and, where required, closely coordinating with auditors, company secretary and external consultants GST – Computations and returns filing for various registrations including for ISD and TCS related registrations – GSTR1/GSTR2A/GSTR3B/GSTR6/GSTR8
  • TDS – Computations and returns ROC – Ensuring full compliance of ROC related matters ESI/PF – Computations and returns Income Tax – preparing advance tax computations, returns and filing Finance and Working Capital – Liaison with Banks for maintaining and regular enhancements of working capital limits, preparing projections and provisionals, etc.
  • Keeping a check on various bank charges and interest deductions.
  • Liaisoning with various government departments such as Income Tax, Customs, GST, etc. as and when required Audit –
  • Engage with statutory auditors for conducting audits and preparing and finalising balance sheets Handling complete imports related documentation with various stakeholders in the imports process Suppliers – PIs, shipment docs, etc Banks – opening LCs, managing forex exposure risks, formulating hedging strategies, executing forex transactions and making foreign remittances Customs – Filing customs related declarations, new port registrations, responding to customs queries in a timely manner with appropriate information, etc Shipping Lines, Ports and Custom House Agents – ensuring timely receipt of invoices, keeping a close check on the charges, etc Implementing robust systems in place to ensure smooth functioning of team and efficient management of accounts and imports documentations. Updating and implementing latest technological solutions to enhance productivity.
  • Hiring for any vacancies in the team or for expansion of team by coordinating with HR and external consultants Taking the lead in managing transition of group company from a proprietorship firm to a private limited company
